Sustainability Consultant

As a Sustainability Consultant based in Dubai for a multinational corporation in the oil and gas sector, you will play a crucial role in enhancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies. Your primary focus will be to assess and advance sustainability practices across various operations to support their global sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Analysis: Evaluate current sustainability practices, including energy usage, resource management, and social impact, to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Strategy Development: Formulate and recommend strategies to enhance sustainability performance, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and industry standards.
• Implementation Support: Work closely with internal teams to integrate and execute sustainability initiatives effectively.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze the progress of sustainability projects, and prepare comprehensive reports for executive stakeholders.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, certifications, and sustainability standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability efforts and address feedback.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and conduct training programs to increase employee awareness and adoption of sustainability practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Relevant 5 years experience in sustainability consulting or a related role within a multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, energy management, and social impact assessment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and software.
